Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group would like to invite you to an online event to discuss how we can support our communities during the Flu season this year.
Statistics show that people from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic (sometimes referred to as BAME used to refer to members of non-white communities in the UK) are suffering from COVID-19 more acutely than anyone else in the UK. Similar groups will be at higher risk of serious complications if they catch the flu. In the run up to winter, local health and care partners want to make sure they do everything they can to protect those most at-risk from getting ill.
This session will provide the community and local services the opportunity to ask questions and feedback ideas relating to the Flu and Flu Vaccination. We would like to hear your experiences of the Flu and Flu Vaccination, ideas for increasing access to the vaccination and any barriers that communities experience.
This informal session is open to all residents and service providers across mid and south Essex.
