Please be aware of the latest Covid-19 related scam. A text message is being sent which contains a link to a fake, but convincing, NHS website. The fake website requests users provide their banking details to register for the Covid Vaccine. Action Fraud says that you should never give out personal details to organisations or people before verifying their credentials first, even if the message appears to be genuine.
Major organisations will never send unsolicited emails or texts asking for banking details, it says.
Please share this information to make as many people as possible aware.
