Rochford District Council has launched a new grant to support businesses operating in the events industry. If you are a business that organises, facilitates or supplies events (including performers) you may be eligible to receive a grant under the Events Additional Restrictions Grant (EARG) scheme.

To be eligible, applicants must have a fixed premises in the district (whether a business premises or a domestic address in the case of home businesses) or be able to demonstrate a history of organising, facilitating or supplying events in Rochford District. Venues are unlikely to be eligible given they were supported by the recent Sector-Specific Additional Restrictions Grant.

Applicants will need to provide evidence of past and ongoing work within the events industry to be considered eligible. Applicants who only support the events industry as a minor or infrequent aspect of their business are unlikely to be eligible.

The grant is open to applications until 5pm on Wednesday 23rd June.
