The charity prioritises scalable, innovative projects such as AI tools, custom accessibility solutions, app development, and specialised training rather than routine software or hardware refreshes. Applications are reviewed quarterly on a rolling basis, often pairing financial support with pro-bono IT expertise from industry members.
The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) Charity provides funding for projects that use technology to create positive social impact, including initiatives that tackle digital exclusion, improve digital skills, and support vulnerable communities.
Funding targets four core priorities:

  • Education
  • Digital inclusion
  • IT for charities
  • Public understanding of technology

Funding available: From £500, with grants of up to £15,000 and larger awards available for specific projects

Deadline: 14 August, More information and apply here
