We are so excited to announce that local charities Trust Links and Hamelin Trust are teaming up to launch Growing Together for Dementia – a brand new therapeutic gardening project starting in June 2024 located in Rochford, to support people living with dementia and their loved ones

  • The free group will provide those living with dementia a chance to improve wellbeing in a friendly and supportive environment, socialising with others who are also living with dementia.
  • Therapeutic gardening has been shown to help with emotional and physical wellbeing; help sleeping and waking patterns, and to help reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Growing Together for Dementia offers a more nature-based alternative to the more traditional indoor day centres.
  • We will be offering support sessions to carers/family members.
  • A free light lunch will also be provided.
