Over the past year, Active Essex, in collaboration with our dedicated partners, have achieved remarkable progress in building vibrant, active communities. We have worked hard to create environments where individuals not only feel safe but also experience a profound sense of belonging, and the freedom to lead active, healthy lives.

Across the Essex, Southend and Thurrock footprint, we’re working hard to engage over 1.9 million people. With 1.18 million Greater Essex adults now active, and 1 in 2 children embracing regular physical activity, we’re proud of the progress we’ve achieved together. However, of course, there is still work to be done to create a healthier, more active future for everyone.
