Spring COVID-19 vaccinations are now available to book

From today (Tuesday 25 March), eligible people can book appointments for their spring COVID-19 jab, with vaccinations starting from 1 April.
You may be eligible if you:
• Are aged 75 years or over
• Live in a care home for older adults
• Have a weakened immune system

Recent NHS figures show that COVID-19 continues to affect our communities, with around 100 hospital beds taken up daily by COVID-19 patients across the East of England this winter.
The vaccine provides vital protection against the virus and helps reduce your risk of becoming seriously ill. Getting vaccinated is especially important as previous immunity wears off over time – whether from previous infection or vaccination.

You can book your appointment:
• Online via the NHS website
• Through the NHS App
• By calling 119

You don’t need to wait for an invitation letter to book.  For more details about the vaccination programme, including information about RSV vaccinations for those aged 75-79 and pregnant women from 28 weeks, please visit our website.
