A scheme delivered by HEAT Essex (changed from Better Housing Better Health) in partnership with Essex County Council and supported locally by Rochford District Council and Brentwood Borough Council (One Team). It provides fully funded energy efficiency improvements to eligible residents through ECO4, GBIS, and the upcoming Warm Homes Local Grant (WHLG).

It’s open to:

• Tenants and owner-occupiers on low incomes or who meet the health eligibility route
• Private landlords with tenants who meet the same criteria

This scheme is already helping many households across our districts, but to truly reach those most at risk, we need greater awareness across health and wellbeing referral routes.
