Wyvern Community Transport are looking for volunteer minibus drivers and passenger assistants to join their small team of dedicated staff who provide a door to door service driving members in an accessible minibus vehicle. You will need to be physically fit and have a calm and caring disposition with excellent communication skills. Many of their members are elderly or vulnerable and the transport service they receive is a social part of their day.

As a Passenger Assistant, you will be required to ensure the client is helped on and off the vehicle and seated safely comfortably. Due to the requirements of some clients, it is sometimes necessary to sit with the passenger for the duration of the journey. Some clients may also require assistance to carry their shopping on and off the minibus. This role would suit a friendly and sociable person with a caring nature who enjoys interacting with people.
