SPAR’s £100,000 Community Cashback Campaign 2024 Invites UK Entries

For a third year in a row, SPAR shoppers can apply for a grant of up to £10,000 for a local voluntary or community organisation or charity they feel deserves funding.
Applicants for grants are open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland mainland only) aged 16 years or over.
All applicants need to do is share the exceptional contribution that a local organisation has made to their local community and what the grant would be used for.
The grants will be given based on the strength of the applicant’s story, the recipient’s levels of dedication to their community and the credibility of what the grant would be spent on and its impact for the local community.

The following are not eligible for funding:
• Individuals
• Community Interest Companies with shares (CICs).
• Community Interest Companies with guarantee that are less than two years old.
• Profit-making organisations.

Commenting on the 2024 campaign, SPAR UK Brand and Marketing Director, Suzanne Dover said:
“Our grant scheme is aimed at supporting and giving back to the communities that we serve. Last year grants were awarded to over 20 local organisations across the UK, with some receiving £10,000.
“We’ve seen first-hand how much last year’s grant winners have benefited from this scheme and know that together, we are making a real difference in communities.”

The short application form and Terms and Conditions can be found on SPAR’s website: https://www.spar.co.uk/community/community-cashback/

Successful organisations will be announced between 20 June 2024 and 27 June 2024.

The deadline for applications is 22 May 2024 (23:59).
