Alzheimer’s Society ‘Dementia Friends’ session & talk

As part of Rayleigh’s Inclusive Dementia Community accreditation, the Megacentre is hosting a free Alzheimer’s Society ‘Dementia Friends’ session/talk, which provides an opportunity to find out more about dementia and for attendees to ask questions. The event will be on Thursday 11th July, hosted by Mr Mark Neville from the Alzheimer’s Society.  It will be a very informative session for businesses, carers, people living with the early to mid-stages of dementia and anyone interested in knowing more about this disease. It will cover some of the key issues faced by people living with dementia, their loved ones and carers. The session will enable attendees to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of dementia and for participants to become a recognised ‘Dementia Friend’.

If you are interested in attending or know of anyone who would be interested in coming along please can they contact hub@megacentrerayleigh.co.uk to reserve a place.
