September 10, 2025NHS Mid and South Essex are pleased to confirm that their websites vaccination hub has now been updated with details of all the sites offering vaccinations this winter.

Eligibility and Access Information
School-aged children (4–17 years) will be offered the flu vaccine through their school from 1 September. Parents will receive a consent form to sign. If a child misses their school vaccination, they can receive it at their GP surgery.
Children aged 2–3 years can receive the flu nasal spray from 1 September at their GP surgery. For the first time, participating pharmacies will also offer the nasal spray from 1 October.
Pregnant women can get their flu vaccine from 1 September. The RSV vaccine is offered from 28 weeks of pregnancy, and it is also recommended that pregnant women receive the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. These vaccinations can be given by your GP, local pharmacy, or maternity provider.
Other eligible adults, including those aged 65 and over, will be able to get their flu vaccine from 1 October. Appointments can be pre-booked now via the NHS National Booking Service. Adults aged 65+ will be contacted by their GP surgery in the coming weeks.
