New Vaccine Hub for Essex as Booster campaign goes into overdrive
As announced on Sunday 12 December, the NHS vaccination programme will offer every adult the chance to book a COVID-19 booster vaccine by the end of the year in a race to protect the nation against the Omicron variant.
To support residents to know when and where they can access a vaccine closer to where they live, our refreshed vaccine has website all the information you’ll need, including:
• How to get your 1st, 2nd or Boosters doses
• Winter health
• Mental health and needle phobia support.

As part of the biggest and fastest vaccine programme in health service history, online bookings are available for all those in their 30s now, the national booking service will then open up to everyone aged 18 and over from Wednesday this week.
Rachel Hearn, Executive Director for Nursing and Quality for Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership said:
“We know we are in a race against time to step up our COVID vaccine programme and are working with colleagues across our partnership to create the capacity to deliver the booster programme.
“I would urge people to be patient with us as we increase availability and to use the information locally on the Essex COVID Vaccine website and via the NHS national booking site to get your jab and protect yourselves and your families.”

Get your vaccine at Chelmsford Racecourse – This weekend 18-19 December
