The opportunity has arisen to apply for funding to recruit young people aged 16 to 24 for a 6 month work placement. This is a fantastic opportunity for charities in mid and south Essex to provide vital work experience to encourage more young people to consider a career in the voluntary sector. The scheme will provide training and support for young people that are currently unemployed and will be struggling to enter the employment market. The scheme will also give the opportunity to the sector to provide short-term additional capacity to the sector during a time of significantly additional demand and need, whilst not replacing or displacing existing roles.
