Do you live, work or own a business in a rural community and have an interest in crime prevention and community safety? An exciting opportunity has arisen where you can have your voice heard and help contribute towards making your rural community safer.
Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Roger Hirst, hosts a Rural Crime Forum that is a place for police, farmers, community groups and partner agencies to come together to discuss issues in rural areas, and find solutions that meet the community’s needs.
The forum meets four times a year, in person and online, and is looking for new members to join. If you represent a rural community or business and would like to have a voice on rural issues and in making your community safer, come along to one of our forum meetings to find out more. Please send your details to PFCC@Essex.police.uk for more information.
